Our 2019 Maison du Bertrand is an irresistible expression of our grapes, offerings a rich bouquet redolent of dark berries, complemented by delicately spicy notes. Supple and fruity flavored on the palate, this wine is underpinned by well-rounded tannins, which culminate in a lingering, aromatic finish. Enjoy now, or age for up to five years.
Bordeaux: For centuries Bordeaux has boasted some of the most prestigious appellations in the world, being separated into the Right Bank (known for its red clay soils that produce bold plummy red wines, overwhelmingly Merlot) and Left Bank (known for its gravelly soils and graphite-driven red wines where Cabernet Sauvignon thrives) by the Gironde Estuary. The Malbec and Carmenere grapes also got their start here. Bordeaux is home to 60 different recognized Appellation d'Origine contrôlée (AOC) regions.
